Day 1:

Arrival and Welcome in Pusztaszer Arrival in Hungary: Upon arrival at Budapest Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to the peaceful village of Pusztaszer, located in the heart of Hungary’s Great Plains. Accommodation: Settle into Bence Máté’s Family Farm – a cozy and comfortable base surrounded by nature. Evening Briefing: Over a welcome dinner, we’ll introduce the week’s schedule, photographic goals, and provide an overview of the hides and target species. It’s also a great chance to meet your fellow photographers and ask any questions.

Days 2–7:

Immersive Hide Photography Each day offers morning and afternoon sessions from a variety of expertly designed hides, giving you outstanding photographic opportunities across different habitats and lighting conditions.

Over 23 Unique Hides: From forest clearings to wetlands and meadows, the hides are strategically placed for maximum photographic potential. Highlights include: Theater Hide & Cinema Hide: Perfect for capturing bird behavior in action. Drinking Station Hide: Excellent for close-ups and reflection shots. Hotel Hide: Observe wildlife from the comfort of your room. Night Hide: For rare and elusive nocturnal species such as otter and night heron. Target Species Highlights: Birds: European Roller, Hoopoe, Bee-eater, Kingfisher, Spoonbill, Great White Egret, Little Egret, Squacco Heron, Grey Heron, Marsh Harrier, Goshawk, Sparrowhawk, Turtle Dove, Mediterranean Gull, Little Owl, Black Woodpecker. Mammals: Otter, Ground Squirrel, and other small mammals. Expert Guidance: Whether you’re an experienced photographer or an enthusiastic beginner, expert guidance will help you make the most of each session, from composition techniques to camera settings.

Day 8:

After one last breakfast, you’ll be transferred back to Budapest Airport with your memory cards full of extraordinary wildlife encounters and your heart full of unforgettable experiences. T

Bring your own tripod. In some hides e.g. Theatre, Cinema, Kingfisher and Drinking Station there are tripods/heads, but the other hides will need your equipment too. it is recommended to bring ‘Arca Swiss plates’ which will be useful to install them to these tripod heads. Recomended REMOTE CONTROL DEVICES for your cameras.
